Notes: This older, pint-sized pup is a total sweetheart with a penchant for cuddles. He is getting plenty of them in a great foster home, after being rescued from the shelter at 15 years old! Chihuahuas can live to be over 20 years old. Tito gets along well with other dogs, but loves his humans the most. He is good in a crate and is house trained. He does not play much but instead prefers to sit with his people wherever they are. His best feature is his great, big heart! And abonus is he rarely barks! Tito's ideal home is with people who like older dogs. Tito is a cuddler, so he would love a family who will spend lots of time with him. Since he gets along with other pups, he would not mind some company if his people are out. Surely this little pup with the big heart could find his way into yours? Want to give this lad a home to spend his golden years in? Apply to adopt Tito today!

All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The minimum donation for dogs six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Our organization is run mostly by volunteers, and all of our pets are housed by dedicated foster families throughout North Texas. We focus on helping the healthy and treatable pets who are at risk of euthanasia at Dallas Animal Services. By rescuing the pets at greatest risk and helping owners who are having problems so great that they need to surrender their pets to a shelter. In our rescue program, we focus primarily on the pets who have already been passed over by other groups and the Dallas Animal Services’ adoption programs, taking only the healthy and treatable pets who have no other options. Because we do not have a shelter facility, the only way that we can save these animals is with the help of foster homes.
