26th May: Patterdale Terrier cross Missing from Stourhead Estate, Wiltshire/Somerset border.Patterdale Terrier cross, male, neutered. Click on the picture for a larger photo. Smooth coat - not very short. Mostly black with areas of very dark brown on elbows and hocks. Small amount of white hair on back of hind legs but only noticable if you run hand over. Few white hairs under chin, again only noticable if you look for them. Half docked tail that is usually carried high and is slightly bent over his back. He recently cut his pad on his off hind so that had only just healed over and may leave a scar. Many people, especially kids, mistake him for a labrador pup! Small terrier, fit and quite muscular. Approx 13-14 inches at shoulder. 4 years old. Wearing black leather collar with brown leather lining and silver bone tag. Microchipped. Disappeared on a walk and probably went to ground. Owner walked a very short route into woods to the left of the Tower and kept turning left following the path until it led back to the car park. He will go into Badger holes if not prevented and stays down for hours - but otherwise always comes to owner’s call him. So he's either stuck or dead. Long haired. Microchipped. Slipped out of the house while owners were distracted by a visitor. They think someone must have picked her up. Lost on the space of grass where she normally takes a walk between Campbell Road and Tottenham High Road on 25th May 2009 between 5.30 and 7.00. 20th May: Collie x Beagle Missing from Elford, Tamworth, Staffordshire.Collie x Beagle, female. Click on the picture for a larger photo. Beige and white. Her paws are white and main body and head is beige with a white tipped tail. She is deaf and has cauliflower ears due to an operation. She had a hip operation so may be hobbling. She always rubs her bum across floor, walks whilst sitting. Loves fuss and attention. Never would bite anyone. Medium build, was chubby but lost a lot of weight, waddles a bit when she walks. 9 years old. Wearing a collar. Microchipped. Originally ran away with her sister but her sister returned home today without her. They have run away in past but have almost always come back. White patch going down her chest, white on her toes. Very big ears that point upwards when alert and fold when at rest. Small dog, Maybe 60 cm to shoulder. Wearing a pink collar with ID tag. Microchipped. At the time she went missing she was not house trained, hated being alone, cried if left alone and ran around anxiously. She did not like walking on the lead and would walk beside owner as opposed to in front. Very friendly baby. Stolen around January 07 in Bishop Auckland, County Durham. LD6150

His back and sides are black and his front is largely tan although he can look very dark when dirty. He has the markings of Rottweiler and his ears are floppy like a Rottweiler. Very handsome. Owner writes: Since his disappearance we had reports of an Alsatian in the south Nutfield area which we have searched for but sadly couldn't find. Possibly still in this area.
