News of Pound Puppy Animal Rescue

As we have had a couple of enquiries, regarding whether we have any connections with other rescues, we would like to clarify that Pound Puppy Animal Rescue (PPAR) is a charity in its own right. During this period of upheaval when the founder of PPAR suddenly passed away, other rescues kindly offered to step forward to stand in the breach and take on some of the animals that were in Jayne's personal care. For this PPAR are very grateful, and would like to say an enormous thank you. PPAR is up and running again under a new team of dedicated animal lovers, and as such we would ask for your continued support and kindness, so we can continue Jayne Gooderson's good work.
Thank you all.

The Way Ahead for Pound Puppy Animal Rescue, Poole, Dorset, UK.
Further to the very sad announcement that Jayne Gooderson who pioneered Pound Puppy Animal Rescue has passed away, we are now delighted to announce that Pound Puppy Rescue will NOT be closing. Several of her closest and long standing friends (some of whom who have known and worked with her for years) and have immense knowledge of the legality of charities as well as the requirements to successfully rehome animals, have come together and decided to continue the rescue in Jayne's name. As a result we would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all those who have supported the charity over the years and we look forward to your continuing support in the future.

Welcome to Pound Puppy Animal Rescue, Poole, Dorset, UK.
Pound Puppy Animal Rescue is a non profit organisation that rescues hundreds of young/adult/ancient dogs and cats every year that would otherwise be killed because they do not have a home. Having rescued the pets Pound Puppy Animal Rescue then provides medical treatment and tender loving care until they are healthy enough to find a new home.

Pound Puppy Animal Rescue find homes for unwanted, abandoned and stray puppies, dogs, cats and kittens from council pounds, breeders and homes that can no longer look after them. The animals stay in foster homes looked after by our volunteers in the area around Poole, Dorset until they find a suitable home.

We need foster families to provide temporary homes for our cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, preferably around Bournemouth and Poole. We supply everything the animal will need: food, bedding, crate. All you need to supply is love, a nice home and time. If you think you can help please e-mail your location and contact phone number to poundpuppyanimalrescue999@gmail.com

We will rehome dogs and cats to Dorset and the surrounding counties: Isle of Wight, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Channel Islands, and further afield, home checks and circumstances permitting.

Please Donate to Help the Dogs and Cats
As we are starting afresh, and have puppies and older dogs in our care, and more coming in, we are asking if at all possible for donations of both Adult and puppy wet and dry food please, It would be very much appreciated. For drop off points please contact Julie on 0787 022 1710. Thank you very much for your help.

Chappie dog food: Chappie is very good for dogs with digestion problems. If you would like to donate some (tinned and dried) for our poorly dogs please bring it along to our Bazaar or other event.

Pound Puppy Animal Rescue survives on donations of food, and money to pay vet fees. Our account at the vet is well into four figures - that is debit not credit! If you would like to help a dog or cat during its stay with us or if you have food/equipment/money you would like to donate then please e-mail us.

On behalf of the dogs and cats thankyou.

Any old dog items that you may no longer require such as beds, bowls, leads, toys, tennis balls etc are always welcome since some of the dogs destroy these!
