Notes: Shenzi, 2 year old, spayed Husky/Pit mix. She was dumped on our road, thankfully we were able to locate her owners and take away their companion animal rights. Although she is a Pittie in the face, her personality is 100% Husky. High energy, sheds like crazy, loves to be outside. Shenzi’s interactions with other dogs can range from neutral to get as far away from me as possible. She does not like cats so we would prefer for her to be the only pet, which is why she has been here so long. If you are looking for an outdoor adventure buddy, she is your gal.

Shenzi: 2-3 years old, 50 pounds, spayed and vaccinated. Mostly housebroken. Must be the only pet. Easily keeps herself entertained with a squeaky toy. Would make a great hiking buddy. We have no doubt she would be a totally different (and calmer) dog outside of the shelter. Adoption fee: $150
