Notes: Charlie needs an experienced Chi home. He was surrendered by his senior owner when they had to move to a senior living center.
Charlie is estimated to be around 6 years old, neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on his vaccines. He is a feisty 5.2 pound boy who does not like strangers. The good news is he does warm up to strangers within a day and then is as sweet as he can be. He also resource guards his food so would need to be fed separately and would not be recommended to be in a home with small children. If you are interested in giving Charlie a new home please fill out an adoption application form - see the link below.Click here for information about the Chihuahua breed
If you are interested in Charlie, please fill out our Adoption Application Form to meet him.

This dog is a recent rescue so may not be available yet. We have to take him to the vet and keep an eye on him for several days in case he is harboring something that needs to be treated. If you are interested in Charlie fill out an Adoption Application Form NOW so that we can process your application. Even if you decide not to adopt Charlie we will keep your approved application in case you see another dog you are interested in. You cannot meet a dog until your adoption application has been approved.
Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.
