Fostering: We need loving homes to care for several of our dogs until they find permanent homes.
By fostering a dog, you will have an opportunity to make a huge difference in the life of that dog and eventually
its new family/person.
Fostering can be hard work, but it is also extremely gratifying.
New or gently used leashes and collars of any size, and especially small and medium sizes, for our foster dogs would be greatly appreciated.

AHDRO’s mission is to provide homeless Collies and other family-friendly dogs a safe haven where they will receive medical care, nutrition, and love until an approved home is found.
Upon intake into our program, each dog is examined by a veterinarian, and necessary treatment is administered, or a treatment plan is put into place.
All AHDRO dogs are placed in the homes of approved volunteers until they are adopted into homes that have been carefully screened for placement.

foster homes. Our purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome abandoned, neglected and unwanted sporting dogs of
various breeds, pure and mixes. Primarily, (not limited to) our orphaned dogs are pulled from euthanizing shelters
and given a new chance at life. Our goal is placement into companion homes well matched for human and dog.
The Sporting Dog classified as a sporting breed, hunting dog or gun dog does not necessarily mean 'for hunting only'.
Most of the dogs taken into rescue are because they "would not hunt". The sporting breeds are sensitive, intelligent
and 'wanting to please' dogs. Given attention, interaction and exercise these dogs make excellent companions for life -
no hunting required!

Anyone interested in adopting a dog must have a home check, vet reference and be willing to drive to the Toledo
area as we will not ship dogs. Please understand that we only adopt out dogs to INDOOR homes. I have opened
up my home to all of my adoption dogs, reguardless of where they were kept before coming to live with me,
and I expect them to live their lives out as members of the family. If you are looking for an OUTDOOR dog,

4 Paws Sake, Inc. is a group of volunteer dog lovers whose mission is to rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs. We also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners.

We are 3 people who just love dogs! We believe that all dogs deserve a family, not a cage.
Until there are laws that protect dogs better, and shut down the mills, we will be out there, saving as many as we can.
From having to live a life that’s only purpose is trying to survive, being kept in cages with no human contact, no love,
no grass to run and play in, no toys, being bred as often as they come into heat, or being destroyed when they are no longer useful because the puppy mill does not want to spend money feeding a dog who is useless.
We buy the puppies that are going to be destroyed, are going to get sent to an auction, or are injured and/or ill.
We take them in, get them healthy, and begin the process of teaching them how to live outside of the cage.

Maple Hill Farm Toy Breed Rescue is a group of small animal lovers trying to make a difference in the lives
of unwanted animals. Our goal is to help rescue and find homes for homeless dogs and, in particular,
the dogs once used in puppymills for breeding. We do not have a shelter, so all of our dogs are kept
in experienced foster homes. Some of our animals are just learning how special the human touch can be,
therefore, we work hard at socializing and loving them until they are ready to be adopted. It is our
desire to match the perfect dog to the perfect new forever home.
All of our dogs have been completely vetted. They are up-to-date on all shots, heartworm negative
and on preventative when in season. All dogs have been spayed/neutered unless they are deemed too
young by our vets. These dogs will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract.
